Assembly Election Declare in Five State
The Election Commission of india has announced the poll schedule for Assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh, Mizoram, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh and Telangana. Madhya Pradesh, Mizoram, Rajasthan and Telangana will have single phase electionWhile Chhattisgarh will have two-phase elections.
Chief Election Commissioner, O P Rawat said, the counting of votes in all states will take place on 11th of December.

India beat West Indies by innings and 272 runs

India beat West Indies by innings and 272 runs on the third day of the opening Test in Rajkot to register their biggest ever win in Test cricket. After a brilliant bowling effort in the first innings, Indian spinners repeated their performance in the second, bundling the visitors out for 196 runs in the final session. Kuldeep Yadav five for 57 claimed his maiden five-wicket haul as he ran through the Windies batting order in the second innings. The second and final test will be played from the 12th of this month at Hyderabad.

Nobel Peace Prize-2018 Winner Denis Mukwege and Nadia Murad

Human rights activist Nadia Murad and Physician Denis Mukwege have won this year’s Nobel Peace Prize. Murad and Mukwege won the award for their efforts to end the use of sexual violence as a weapon of war. Murad, a Yazidi-Kurdish human rights activist, was captured by ISIS militants in 2014 and has spoken out about the abuse she suffered at their hands.
In November 2017 she published her story in The Last Girl: My Story of Captivity, and My Fight Against the Islamic State. Mukwege, a Congolese doctor, has spent his life working with victims of sexual violence in The Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Arthur Ashkin, Gerard Mourou and Donna Strickland win Nobel Prize in Physics

Arthur Ashkin, Gerard Mourou and Donna Strickland win Nobel Prize in Physics. Dr Ashkin is from the US, Dr Mourou is French and Dr Strickland is of Canada.The three researchers have been awarded for inventions in the field of laser physics which have paved the way for advanced precision instruments used in industry and medicine.

Dr Ashkin developed a laser technique described as optical tweezers, which is used to study biological systems.Drs Mourou and Strickland developed a way of generating high intensity and very short laser pulses.Donna Strickland is only the third female physics laureate and the first woman in 55 years to win the prize.

James Allison and Tasuku Honjo win Nobel prize for medicine.

James Allison of the US and Tasuku Honjo of Japan won the 2018 Nobel prize in medicine for discovery of a revolutionary approach to cancer treatment.They will share the Nobel prize sum of about 1.01 million dollar. Allison, a professor at the University of Texas, and Honjo, a professor at Kyoto University, also have won the Tang Prize in 2014 for their research.
